Description

Lightning Rapid AC is built for locations where vehicles charge for a few hours rather than overnight — office car parks, retail parking, apartment common areas and small charging hubs. At 22 kW on a three-phase supply, it can add meaningfully more range per hour than a typical 7.4 kW home unit, for vehicles with an onboard charger that supports this rate.

The pedestal-friendly enclosure and tethered Type 2 cable are designed for repeated public or semi-public use, and the unit can be paired with our charge management platform for access control and usage reporting where a networked deployment is required.

Actual charging speed depends on the connected vehicle’s onboard AC charger, which may accept less than 22 kW.
