Charge Management is the operator-facing side of the Lightning Energy platform. Where the consumer app is built for drivers, Charge Management is built for the person responsible for a charger, or a fleet of chargers — a workplace facilities manager, a parking operator, or a fleet depot supervisor.

The dashboard is designed around the questions an operator actually asks day to day: is every charger online, which sessions ran overnight, how much energy did a site use this week, and whether any unit is reporting a fault that needs an installer visit. For sites with multiple connected chargers, load management features are intended to share available electrical capacity across units so that a full car park can charge without tripping the site’s main supply.

Charge Management is designed to work with OCPP-compliant hardware, which keeps the door open for third-party charge point management systems where an operator already has one in place.
