This Installation Policy explains how installation services are scheduled and delivered for products purchased from Lightning Energy that require professional installation.
Site Survey
Most installations begin with a site survey, either remote or in person, to confirm electrical capacity, cable routing and mounting location. Installation quotes are based on the information gathered during this survey and may be revised if actual site conditions differ materially.
Scheduling
Installation appointments are scheduled after hardware delivery and site survey completion, subject to installer availability in your area. Estimated timelines are communicated at the time of scheduling and are not guaranteed against unforeseen delays.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and reasonable access to the installation site, and for any structural, civil or electrical panel upgrades identified as necessary during the site survey that fall outside the scope of standard charger installation.
Installation Partners
Installations are carried out by Lightning Energy or by vetted third-party installation partners. Partners are expected to follow applicable electrical codes and our installation guidelines.
Post-Installation Support
After installation, faults related to the installation workmanship are covered for a reasonable period as communicated at the time of installation; faults related to the hardware itself are covered under the product’s applicable warranty.
Cancellation of Installation
Installation appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled with reasonable notice; cancellation fees, if any, will be communicated in advance and are not applied to first-time rescheduling requests.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer protection provisions, the courts at the location of Lightning Energy’s registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from this policy.
